Sole Siciliano is ideally located in Castellammare del Golfo, around 30 minutes from Palermo Airport and 45 minutes from Trapani Airport. If you are not hiring a car at the airport, you can arrange a transfer directly with us. We will also be happy to help with car hire.
How to reach us
For guests travelling from our part of Europe, Bratislava is a particularly convenient option. Look for flights to Palermo or Trapani: both airports are a similar distance from us, with Trapani approximately 55 km away (40 minutes) and Palermo 45 km (35 minutes). Another option is flying from Prague to Catania, although that airport is 270 km away. If you hire a car there, the drive to us is about the same distance as Prague to Bratislava. Other options include Katowice or Kraków for travellers from northern Moravia, Wrocław for northern Bohemia, and Nuremberg for western Bohemia. Vienna has become less attractive to some low-cost airlines. Competition can make flights to Sicily remarkably affordable—sometimes cheaper than the journey from Prague to Bratislava. Bus 61 connects Bratislava’s main railway station to the airport in about twenty minutes. Routes, fares and timetables can change, so check current availability when planning your trip.

Our B&B Sole Siciliano has three rooms, each with a private bathroom (shower, toilet and bidet), air conditioning, a fridge, TV, Wi-Fi, a coffee machine and a kettle. The double beds are very comfortable. Each room has a large wardrobe, and the four-person room also has a large chest of drawers. The rooms have resin flooring.
